Diagnosis Test enrolled in a low trochospiral coil, chambers inflated and globular, enlarging rapidly as added, four to five in the final whorl, sutures curved, depressed, periphery rounded; wall calcareous, finely perforate but may be more coarsely perforate on the spiral side, surface smooth, except for radial striae and rows of pustules leading to the umbilicus; aperture a low interiomarginal slit; sexual reproduction plastogamic.
