Taxonomy Loxokalypus pedicellinoides is a very problematic species. I have some years ago corresponded with Dennis Gordon and Peter Emschermann about it, and they were both quite uncertain about the identity of the not very good material. The species has of course been described, but whether it is a Loxokalypus is questionable. [details]

I have some years ago corresponded with Dennis Gordon and Peter Emschermann about it, and they were both quite uncertain about the identity of the not very good material.
