Publication date Not published for valid nomenclature until unknown date in September 2016 when assigned a print issue, but first online in 2015. Blake (13 September, 2016) in the same month recombined the name to Kirkegaardia, citing the name as "Kirkegaardia marypetersenae (Lezzi, Çinar, & Giangrande, 2015) new combination", thus reporting an incorrect year of publication.
