Description Found on the continental shelf, also in coastal waters. Feeds on crustaceans, fish, and cephalopods. Oviparous, with up to 16 egg-cases per female, hatching about a month after deposition (Ref. 5510). Not utilized at present but are being caught by sports anglers with rod and reel. [details]
