Taxonomy Except for mentioning the new name in a confusing manner as "Postclausa hyptopus kurti (Wulfert, 1939)" and differentiating...
Taxonomy Except for mentioning the new name in a confusing manner as "Postclausa hyptopus kurti (Wulfert, 1939)" and differentiating it from the nominal species by "length of foot/length of toe < 1", there is no reference to Wulfert's work, from which the newly proposed taxon apparently originates (i.e. Wulfert, 1939). This does not seem sufficient to satisfy ICZN Art.13.1.1. and/or Art. 13.1.2. to confer nomenclatural availability on this name.
Wulfert (1939:590) (op. cit.), in recognizing certain variations from the typical (co-occuring) form, surmised these could be juvenile specimens of G. hyptopus (Ehrenberg): "...macht hierin also den typischen Eindruck von Jungtieren", but thereby did not exclude the possibility it could also be something as yet undescribed: "... scheint mir das Vorliegen einer neuen Art nicht ausgeschlossen".
