From editor or global species database
Distribution Although this species is known from 13 localities, almost all of them are clustered close together in the
abyssal zone off the coast of Peru in a region covered by manganese nodules. This species was found 0–2 cm
deep in the soft deep-sea sediment. Recently, it was also reported from the subtidal zone off the coast of Brazil;
however, since A. lingua is an abyssal species we think that this record needs confirmation. [details]
