Taxonomy Cardenas et al. 2011 based on molecular data proposed several subfamilies (Stellettinae and Sanidasterinae) and left several genera unassigned for lack of molecular sequences. We do not follow the proposal because the names proposed for the subfamilies are unavailable, and also because we need to have all taxa reassigned, not just some of the taxa. We will await further studies before implementing changes. [details]
