Parapodien'' (Hartmann-Schröder, 1965: 207). The subspecific epithet is composed by the Latin prefix prae-, meaning 'before' or 'in front', and the Latin adjective cirrata (masculine: cirratus), meaning 'having cirri'.  [details]
