The nereid, now to be described, has been found in three localities: (i) at Malahide Inlet, County Dublin, Ireland, by the authiors; (ii) at the Isefjord Vellerup Vig., Denmark, by Dr. R. I. Smith, University of California, and Dr. E. Rasmusseun, Zoological Laboratory, Copenhagen, and (iii) at Roskildefjord, Frederikssund, Denmark, by Dr. E. Rasmusseun.
