Slabber (1778, pl. 13) Description: 1 - 2. Een “parel-kwal” (Medusa perla), later herkend door van Benthem Jutting (1970) als de lichtende kwal (Pelagia noctiluca). 3. De “kermin beroë” (Mollusca marina), later herkend door van Benthem Jutting (1970) als het kwalstadium van een poliep (Turritopsis nutricula). 4 – 5. Een “dier onder de rang der slakken of molluscae”, later herkend door van Benthem Jutting (1970) als een borstelworm (Histriobdella homari), maar deze identificatie is onzeker (Kristian Fauchald, Smithsonian Institution). 6. Een “slakhoorn” (Helix), later herkend door van Benthem Jutting (1970) als een kokerworm (Spirorbis sp.). Author: M.
