| Abstract |
All genera and species of the Class Pycnogonida (sea spiders) are catalogued, comprising 1111 species in 84 genera. At least one reference is listed to give a source of a "good" diagnosis or description of the respective taxon. For most species further information is provided concerning the geographical distribution, depth range, habitat preference and synonymy. 1463 references reporting on Pycnogonida are listed in the bibliography. |
