Taxonomy Nordsieck (1968) and Janssen (1975) both position Lacuna pallidula (Da Costa, 1778) in the genus: Stenotis A. Adams, 1863. However, no convincing arguments for this placement exist and as such we'd rather follow the majority of others in using Lacuna. [details]
