Type locality Drøbak in Oslofjord and also Brettesnæs and Skraaven in the Lofoten Islands. Radashevsky et al (2020: 38) claim they have set the type locality to Drøbak "as the first sampling site mentioned in the original description of the species". However, the Code doesn't work like that. Article 73.2.3 states "if the syntypes [must be syntypes since clearly there were multiple original specimens] originated from two or more localities (including different strata), the type locality encompasses all of the places of origin."
