Nomenclature The species is transferred to Haliclona because the genus Sigmadocia is a junior synonym of Haliclona. The combination Haliclona liber used by Ise (2017: 362) is changed to Haliclona libera because genus and species name must agree in gender (ICZN art. 31.2). The name 'liber' is here used in the sense of 'free-living' and thus it is an adjective that must be changed. [details]
