checklist listing confirmed as present, but it seems an unlikely taxon to occur in Europe given the N Pacific Ocean America coast origin. The listing may be based on a very brief Greenland mention of Wesenberg-Lund (1953), again unlikely to be correctly identified, repeating a mention of Moore 1902

Lectotype Salazar-Vallejo selected a lectotype MCZ-2503 from material split over two museums [details]

Spelling Salazar-Vallejo (2012) reports that Oug et al [Oug E, Bakken T, Kongsrud JA. 2011. Guide to identification of Flabelligeridae (Polychaeta) in Norwegian and adjacent waters. Norwegian Polychaete Forum Guides ] used a misspelling of F. infundibuliformis (sic for Flabelligera infundibularis) based on a Greenland record reported in Wesenberg-Lund (1950, 1953) with the correct spelling. As this is not a formal taxonomic usage it is not given a separate entry in WoRMS. [details]

Type locality Based on lectotype designated by Salazar-Vallejo from MCZ-2503, Scow Bay (48 03.75 N, 122 42.50 W), Puget Sound, Washington [details]
