Description Also distributed in Ceylon, Bay of Bengal and East Indies (Clark & Rowe, 1971). [details]Spelling Spelled E. cribosus in Vine, (1986).
Type locality: Zanzibar (Clark & Rowe, 1971).
According to Clark & Rowe (1971), E. cribosus and insignis may be synonymous, but until further material is available for comparison, the western Indian Ocean records may be arbitrarily referred to cribosus and the Pacific ones to insignis. The intermediate records from Ceylon to Singapure are doubtfully referred to cribosus. [details]
