Description: Habitat: muddy shores (Ruwa, 1984 <109>). Moderately solid shell, up to 7 cm, with pear-shaped body whorl. Exterior white with spiral bands of brown blotches, interior white or tinted with violet, brown or yellow. Habitat: abundant on clean sand and in sandy patches on reef flats and deeper.
