Specimen: Musée National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris, POLY TYPE 512-514, 864-871 [details] Spelling: Incorrect spelling of the epithet (recombined in Pirakia and Eumida) may be seen in print as 'fucescens' instead of the correct original 'fuscescens'. [details] Type locality: Dinard, Brittany, France [details] Validity: Nomen dubium. Type material includes two specimens belonging to two genera Notophyllum and Eumida (fide Pleijel & Dales, 1991).
