Checked: verified by a taxonomic editorDiagnosis Shell 1.6 to 1.8 mm high, with protoconch of 1.25 convex whorls and teleoconch of about three whorls. Protoconch covered by minute granules arranged irregularly, not appreciable under the optical microscope. Teleoconch with a deeply incised suture and a sculpture of low, indistinct, rounded axial ribs which are sometimes missing, extremely minute spiral lines of pores, and spiral cords developed only on the periumbilical area of the body whorl. Spiral rows of pores visible only at high magnification under the scanning electron microscope. Outer lip with a thin edge and slightly thickened externally, smooth and not thickened inside. Shell colour white. [details]
