Classification There is a taxonomic debate about the systematic position of Calamyzas amphictenicola. It is a parasite that according to some authors is not a syllid and belongs to a different family (Calamyzidae). Other authors consider it as a syllid member of a different subfamily (Calamyzinae). [details]
