Note Quatrefages included three previously...  
Type species Quatrefages included three previously described species in his genus. Type species as Alciopa lepidota Krohn 1845 appears to have been designated in Hartman catalogue (1959:170), also confirmed in Tebble (1962:405) shortly thereafter, but Hartman could be following an earlier designation, possibly in Granata (1911, not checked), who used Krohnia rather than Callizonella. [details]
