Taxonomic remark Young [12] transferred Ancyrocephalus thysanophrydis Yamaguti, 1937 to Pseudohaliotrema based on five specimens of a dactylogyrid he collected from Pl. fuscus in Moreton Bay, Australia. Young [12] clearly did not have access to Yamaguti’s type specimens when he made the species determination as indicated in the list of specimens examined during his study. However, examination of two voucher specimens that Young [12] deposited in the USNM (1356609) revealed that they belonged to Pt. mastix n. sp. [details]
