World Register of marine Cave Species (WoRCS)

Bill devoted much of his scientific career to exploring and documenting subterranean and anchialine biodiversity, making major contributions to our understanding of these unique ecosystems. As a founding member of the WoRCS Editorial Team, he contributed his extensive expertise on anchialine fauna and supported the initiative from its early stages. His scientific legacy and contribution to the subterranean biology community will be greatly missed.
A tribute to Bill’s life and scientific legacy has been published in Subterranean Biology.
