Etymology The prefix “Tubuli-” is derived from the Latin “tubulus” = tube, and refers to the numerous ventral tubules on trunk segment 2. The suffix “-deres” is from Greek, meaning “neck”, and is used in the naming of most cyclorhagid genera. [details]
