According to Malakhova (1975) and Postojalko (1975a), Pseudolituotubella multicamerata is a junior synonym of P. separata, but the latter species is distinguished by a significant expansion of the uncoiled part at the end of growth and a lobed periphery of the coiled part (in P. multicamerata the periphery is smooth).
