Diagnosis Test trochospiral, chambers increasing rapidly in number in successive whorls, prominent and thick fissured umbilical mass on one side, septa secondarily doubled, sutures nearly radial, depressed, and fissured on both sides; wall calcareous, fibrous, optically radial, thick, perforate, surface smooth except for the fissured umbilical plug, pustules, and fissured sutures; aperture of final chamber unknown, intercameral foramen interiomarginal, nearly equatorial but slightly on the umbilical side; radial canals open between the umbilical pillars.
