Diagnosis Test large, streptospirally enrolled in the early stage, with few chambers per whorl, later chambers uncoiled and rectilinear; wall calcareous, thick, coarse grained, with some inclusions; aperture in the early stage simple and basal, becoming multiple and cribrate in the later coiled chambers and the uncoiled stage.
