Reproduction Breeds across Canada from Nova Scotia and Gaspe to southeastern Alaska and south to Florida, Texas, and northern Mexico. Winters along the coastal and inland waters from the northern United States to the West Indies, Central, and northern South America. It is a colonial Breeder. Eggs are laid from mid May to late June. [details]
