Distribution Western Norway and Sweden; Helgoland, Germany (Kossmagk-Stephan, 1985); Carnsore Point, County Wexford, Ireland [details]
Distribution Northeast Atlantic, so far known with certainty from Morocco and Scandinavia north to Tromsø, above the Arctic Circle. Kossmagk-Stephan (1985: 78) recorded the species at Helgoland, Germany, but specified that it occurred “exclusively in the seawater outflow of the Helgoland Aquarium”. In subtidal, fine or coarse sands, at 35–500 m depth. Intertidal records from Ireland (Locke & Coates 1998) are suspect [details]
