Description Description: Test medium to large sized. Initially septabrunsiinoid and then endothyroid in coiling and chamber shape. There are three deviations of coiling: The septabrunsiinoid juvenarium is followed, after a deviation of 90°, by a sigmoidal coiling, and finally the last whorl is planispiral and evolute. The chambers and the walls are those of Eogloboendothyra. Supplementary deposits generally discrete with hooks and corner fillings. Wall differentiated with often an agglutinated layer and a pseudofibrous layer. Aperture terminal, simple.
Occurrence: Late Tournaisian of Kuzbass (Russia) and Siberian Platform. MFZ9 (early Visean) of Huilong (South China); late Visean of the Urals; late Tournaisian-Serpukhovian of Siberia; late Visean of southern Fergana (Poyarkov & Skvortsov, 1979). ?Middle Visean of England (Conil et al., 1980; Strank, 1981). ?Middle Visean of Kazakhstan. ?Late Visean of Germany. Biozone 2 (Mikhailovian) of Akiyoshi area (Kobayashi and Vachard, 2022).
[Late early Viséan (MFZ11A) of NW Turkey (Okuyucu et al., 2013)]
