Description Solitary corallum cemented on a wide attachment area. Circular calice. Deep calicular platform with an elliptical axial pit. "Archeothecal" wall, externally smooth or very thin vertical striations. Radial elements are compact poorly ornamented septa with parallel faces. Lateral faces smooth. They are straight but my become more tortuous in the axial region. Microstructure not preserved but an important development of laminar layers is presumed from the relation with endotheca. Probable hexameral arrangement. Abundant subtabular endotheca made of some rather thick dissepiments extending on a great part of interseptal chambers and sloping down to the axial region. Wide calicular axial pit, septa free in distal region, but anastomosed in depth. No columella, no palus, no synapticule. [details]
