Description Massive plocoid corallum. Intercalicular increase. Lower surface costate, without epitheca. Radial elements are compact costosepta, free or anastomosing in the centre, straight to curved, not exsert. Lateral faces with small acute irregular granules. Cutting festooned distal edge . Costae more equal than the septae, confluent, subconfluent or non confluent. Octameral symmetry not obvious. Bilateral symmetry often but not always marked by the elongation of the corallite and of the axial zone. Parietal spongy columella. Dissepiment occur in endotheca and in peritheca. No synapticule. Paraseptothecal wall. [details]
