Comparison Differs from Stichopsammia in having a normal arrangement of septa and lacking a columella. [details]

Diagnosis Corallum produced by polystomadeal intratentacular budding resulting in flabello-meandroid arrangement of calices; costae granular; epitheca absent; septa arranged normally; columella absent. [details]

Remark This genus and family were monographed by Cairns (2001), which included a phylogenetic analysis based on morphology. Monotypic. [details]
