Diagnosis Corallum solitary, mushroom-like in shape, attached; septa arranged in Pourtalès plan; costae numerous; columella elliptical in shape. [details]Remark Because the original description and the illustration of the holotype differ in matters of coloniality and septal arrangement, Cairns (2001) was unable to properly characterize it and thus considered it to be a dendrophylliid genus of uncertain position. Monotypic. [details]
