Comparison In thamnasterioid type of connections of corallites in the colony, it is similar to Campesteria Caruthers and Stanley, 2008, and Margarogyra Roniewicz, 2010. From the former it differs in reimaniphylliid type of the microstructure, with a midseptal zone containing small trabeculae, from the latter, with which it is nearer systematically, it differs in having lateral septal stereome poorly orgnized, with fascicles of fibers rarily presenting axes. [details]

Description Original description of Cuif 1976: 154, and figures: pl.17, fig.2,3, were completed with additional description and illustrations in Roniewicz 1989:62, pl.15, fig. 3,4,6. [details]

Diagnosis Emended by Roniewicz 1989: Thamnasterioid; calices in meandroid series. Distal and internal septal edges smooth. Lateral septal stereome organized into fascicles of fibres, with axes rarily observed; lateral septal micromorphology granular. Endotheca abundant, small-vesicular. [details]
