Editor's comment Heteronereis is not a valid genus. Heteronereids are nereidid reproductive forms. This species name may be indeterminable if specimens do not exist. Possibly it was a Nereis or Platynereis (one figure looks like a homogomph falciger). [details]Spelling Incorrectly recorded here at WoRMS as 'crenaticirris' until 2017. Correctly recorded as 'crenaticirra' in 1959 Hartman catalogue, p.242 [details]
