However, when spellings are reconciled, it is unavailable as a junior primary homonym to Lumbrineris cingulata [originally as Lumbriconereis cingulata Ehlers, 1897]. Treadwell definitely named this taxon as a new species, and the description was not a misinterpreted usage of Ehlers species name [details]
