From editor or global species database
Validity Gammill (1997) did not describe this following the rules of the ICZN. Consequently, the combination is not available, It is left here in the World Porifera Database solely for the purpose of alerting Chondrosia. Gammill used this name without indicating that it is a new species, nor did he cite a type specimen. His description gives no microscopic details, but the photo allows to recognize it as belonging to Chondrosia collectrix, of which'pendulous' forms are known. [details]
