Description Nearly cylindrical shell, up to 4 cm, with aperture bordered by numerous very fine teeth. Dorsum pale brown with fine dashed black lines, both ends of aperture orange or red, base white. Habitat: various, commonly under boulders on reef crest. Distribution: Indo-Pacific to South Africa; tropical Indo-Pacific, also in Australia in Kalk (1958). Regional names: Port. Cipreia estriada.
