Description Spherical sack-like masses, loosely attached to the substrate. Oscules raised, 1-2 cm diameter; surface smooth, undulating and extremely fragile, slightly elastic in life. Uniformly black with a maroon tinge and beige interior. Habitat: sheltered reefs on living coral. (Richmond, 1997). [details]
