Classification The transfer to subgenus Cyliconema was explained by Tabachnick & Lévi (2000) with reference to a subgenus Coscinoderma presumably a misprint for Coscinonema. At a later date, Tabachnick & Menshenina (2002) retained this species in subgenus Coscinonema, so it is here assumed that Tabachnick reverted the assignment to the latter subgenus. [details]
