A new species of Polymastia (Hadromerida, Polymastiidae), P. harmelini is described from the coast of Provence (NW Mediterranean). Although this region has been intensively studied, new species are regularly found there. Its description includes morphological, anatomical and cytological features and the species is compared to the Polymastia species from the Atlanto-Mediterranean area.
