From editor or global species database
Nomenclature Lendenfeld (1915) described this species, naming three varieties, but omitted to indicate which is the nominotypical typical variety. It is likely that the first named variety, var.helix should be the typical variety, also because it is the only complete specimen. Nominotypical varieties should have the same name as the species name, in this case Calicosylva cantharellus cantharellus, with C.c.helix as a junior synonym, but since all three varieties are considered accepted as the same species, the action of changing helix into cantharellus is unncessary.
