Etymology The subspecific epithet minutus refers to the small size of the subspecies in relation to the stem species (thoracic width 0.50-0.55 against 0.90-1.40 mm; Mackie, 1987). [details]

Reproduction One specimen (NRS no. 3480) ovigerous, being an anterior fragment of 24 chaetigers, 8 mm long, thoracic width 0.88 mm (Mackie, 1987). [details]
