Authority The authority for Protula meilhaci is Marion (1876 [volume of 1875]) where the species is briefly characterised in a preliminary report. However, for reasons unknown, in the Hartman catalogue (p.590) the authorship of Protula meilhaci Marion described in this 1875-76 article is given as Soulier, 1908. This is wildly incorrect.
