Type locality According to the given coordinates ("lat. 33º 48' N. and long. 133º 19' E.") the type locality would be inland Shikoku Island, being thus misplaced. As in the original description it is stated that the species was "Dredged in an inland sea in Japan", it is possible that this inland sea was in fact the Seto Inland Sea, often shortened to Inland Sea, and located close to the indicated type locality.
