Description
1: Axial section parallel to plane of biseriality. Note the lower three chambers are devoid of beams; the canaliculate wall is dimly recognizable in the upper part (Sartoni and Crescenti 1962, pl. XLVIII, fig. 9, Mount Alburno, sample SF 149).
2: Axial section perpendicular to plane of biseriality, holotype of Cuneolina laurentii; canaliculate wall well recognizable best left in the middle (Sartoni and Crescenti 1962, pl. XLVIII, fig. 7, Lower Cretaceous, Mount Alburno, Italy, sample SF 148).
3–4: Axial sections perpendicular to plane of biseriality (Amodio et al. 2020, fig. 6C and unpublished, lower Hauterivian of southern Italy, San Lorenzello section). The arrows point towards the canaliculate wall.
