Description a enlarged lateral view of an adult specimen, b the corresponding mouth view, c and d a younger specimen in the same enlargement, e the thin section of such a specimen taken perpendicular to the axis to show the character of the secondary partitions and their separation from the main wall, f-k views in natural size of specimens representing different ages. From the desert between Siut and Farafrah. (From Schwager, 1883)
