Description From the level 9 of the Lassalle Quarry, near Pau, western Aquitaine, southern France; Paleocene (SBZ 3). (1–3) External dorsal view. (4–5) External ventral view. (6,9–12, 20, 23–25) Sections more or less perpendicular to coiling axis. (7–8) Axial sections. (13–16, 18, 27–28) Oblique sections with different low and large angles in respect to the coiling axis of the shell. (17, 19, 21–22, 26, 29) Section tangential to the dorsal surface of the shell. Abbreviations: f foramen, s septum, sf septal face, spsut spiral suture, up umbilical plate, k keel, spc spiral canal, fo folium, fosut foliar suture. (From Hottinger, 2014).
