This figure was chosen as the "lectotype" of Kahlerella alpina (Rauser) [sic.] by Bensh in Rauzer-Chernousova et al. (1996, p. 120 pl. 31 fig. 4). It could be a neotype still invalidly designated (see ICZN art. 75) of Fusulina alpina Schellwien, 1898, which was not figured in the original publication.
